I am thinking about sending a present for a guy /boyfriend who is in another country at the moment , buying a property on the moon or star which he can name (or should I name something funny we used to say?). I thought this present would be funy because it is silly, but at the same time it is kind of romantic and strength when he gets lonely he can see it in the sky. I do not want to send a material, because i do not want to increase his luggages when he is coming back. What do you think about my crazy idea? Would anyone do the same?

I believe magic energy exists even now but in a much weaked form, i think magic energy ebbs and flows like the tides but over a very long period of time, for instance imagine magic is like the ice age only a little more frequent, when magic energy is at it’s peak supernatural creatures are attracted to our plane of existance, that would conferm certain myths and legends and would explane the old gods, now i think magic energy is a sort of ambient background energy that is very hard to detect i also believe each and every human has at least a spark of this energy within then that they use without knowing, when a time comes when the magic energy flows across the world again freely we will see more and more amazing feats of magic performed.

When you try to twist a spinning gyroscope it resists. Suppose you stuck a gyroscope on the end of an oar; it will try to precess and resist being swung around.

Suppose you have two oars with gyroscopes on a rowboat on a frictionless surface (or in space), with one on each side. You row once with them spun up for the precession and resistance, allow them to spin down, bring them forward while the gyros on the oars are not spinning and spin them up to repeat. The idea is to move forward without actually touching anything.

Never mind efficiency, would this crazy idea actually work?
Its not a perpetual motion machine, in fact its probably a fairly energy inefficient way of moving forward. Its also not antigravity unless gyroscopes are somehow related to gravity, which they aren’t.

Any answers by people with clues? My gut and Murphy’s law tells me this is too simple an answer to a complicated problem for it to be true, but my brain hasn’t a clue why.

I’ve been on this whole diet thing for a bit now…losing my holiday lbs. Noone can philisophically or ethically explain to me why (if it were workable in theory with no adverse affects to the food chain that would devistate earth totally meaning us humans couldn’t survive) we shouldn’t do this without saying “its the natural order” “Um ask god” its like why people hate gays “because its discusting and wrong and thats just obvious to everyone IDIOT!”

After coming back from a ice fishing, snowmobiling and binge drinking good time, i started to black out once i got home and after laying on the floor for like 20 minutes i got up and went into the can and slipped on the carpet in front of the bath tub as my head was falling towards the toilet i blacked out before i hit and three days later i woke up and for some reason my mind was filled with so many great ideas on how to travel faster than the speed of light and one of then involved a cosmic cannon were the person puts on a special tin foil and rubber band space suit and climbs into the cannon and with a light of a fuse the big bang is recreated within the cannon and as it goes of it sends the person in the cannon flying faster than the speed of light but at the same time he is protected from the big bang because of his tin foil and rubber band space suit. The thing i’m wondering about is if i should cut back on my drinking?

Let’s assume for the moment that global warming is a real threat, unnaturally created by mankind…. And that the polar ice caps hold the key to preventing a chain reaction….And that we can’t just stop all greenhouse gas emissions from one day to another.
I have seen that a concept for a huge solar wind sail exists. What if we shoot up and unfold one of those into a geostationary orbit over the poles, to create just a little bit of “shade” over the ice caps.
Do you think that would help to stop the ice caps from shrinking?

Ok, im 15 and like to go to teen clubs with my friends which are like once a month, its nice to go dancin and meet some new girls.

So I was dancing with this girl, for about 45 minutes, after that she said be right bac ( to go to bathroom or somthing) I waited a little, i didnt want to follow to closley to look desperate, but i lost the her in the crowd and never saw her again.

Now its been eating me up not knowing her name or anything about her because I came very close (kissing/making out) with her.

But i really wish i got her number but its simply to loud to ask for a number in the middle of the dance floor,

Anyways I was thinking of this crazy idea to talk to a girl after the club. Maybe make a little note with my number saying text it and slide it into her pocket when dancing? Im not saying doing it to every girl but only the ones you feel a real connection to.

If not, what hair dye brand do you recommend? I guess it’s difficult with those brands that have three bottles - I just want something simpler.

Here is how it started: KINDA LONG
I was sitting in the emergency room at Earl K. Long with my cousin, well everyone that knows the hospital knows that waiting can a long, long time. To pass the time a friend of ours drew me a picture in my sketch book. Some guy (a complete stranger) asked to draw me a picture also. So I let him.
I ended up filling the book with my own and other peoples drawings. They range from my nieces scribbling to my cousins art and family members pictures and even a few people who were strangers to me drew in it.
Anyway, it gave me an idea. I have this really thick blank book I had made while working at a print shop and I thought it would be neat to travel around the country and fill the book with regular peoples drawings.
I absolutely treasure my other sketch book and the pictures bring back the memories better than a journal can.
Is it a crazy idea or pretty neat?
Do you think it is possible?
Any ideas on how to make it work? Like on approaching people? If someone asked you to draw for them, would you?

That would be to have thick aluminum canisters tightly and safely containing a certain amount of the radioisotope strontium 90. The thick aluminum surrounding the strontium 90 would be able to easily block beta radiation from leaving the container yet at the same time easily conduct heat from the radioactive decay outside of the container safely heating surrounding water or air placed near the drums without any fossil fuel consumption and a constant supply of warm water. Unlike most radioactive isotopes strontium 90 has a half life of 29.1 years and then decays to an even shorter living isotope of yttrium 90 lasting only 2.67 days and then finally decays into the harmless stable isotope of zirconium 90 finally leaving it safe for disposal. Would this actually work to generate enough heat for a home? How much strontium 90 would it require?Intelligent answer please
Note: Highly radioactive materials are also inside the ionizing smoke detectors you find in almost every home. But these smoke detectors have the radioactive material tightly sealed in its housing making it perfectly safe.
